The new 4-star Avalon was built and opened in May 2007, and represents the combination of modernity and antiquity with the full reflection of life in the Old Town.

With a view of the commercial and shopping centre, Daugava River and the old town churches, as well as the towers, the Avalon hotel is ideal for tourists and business people.

111 rooms are fully-equipped for a nice and comfortable stay. All rooms have wireless internet or cable internet connections, as well as bathrooms with either a shower or bath.

Food and beverages

Start your day with a breakfast in our Avalon hotel restaurant, which offers a wide selection of international cuisine dishes as all-day dining restaurant.

Buffet breakfast is included in all room rates. Guests from other hotels can also have breakfast here (additional cost).

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
